How does the recipient get the gift?

After payment, the gift card and its code are sent to your email and appear in your purchased gifts history. Send that code to the person you want to give Premium to.

Does the recipient need a Java Hub account?

Yes. To activate the gift, they need to sign in or create a Java Hub account and then enter the gift code on the Gifts page.

Does the gift code expire?

No. A paid gift code does not expire and can be activated at any time.

When does gifted Premium start?

If Premium is not already active, the paid 30 or 90 days start when the gift code is activated.

What if Premium is already active?

The gift does not replace the current access: the paid 30 or 90 days are added to the existing Premium period.

Can I activate the gift myself?

Yes. You can activate the gift code on your own account — Premium will start immediately or be extended by the paid 30 or 90 days.
